This week, I’m sharing my handmade photography book. A labour of love that took three weeks to develop.
Maps, May, 2024
My handmade book filled with images of people and places from yesteryear, printed on tracing paper then hand stitched.
Pages, which are meaningful in their own way.
Woven together with the pages of an old A to Z map featuring the cities and towns from my teenage years.
With lyrics and words, remembered and misremembered, by loved ones over the years.

I like the choice of paper. Like memories, the pages and photograph blend together, overlap and create some sort of blur. Great result!
Stockport map - seeing Ordnance Survey in the wild is great.
Also the picture of the building at the end.
