Today, I walked for miles. Blistered ankles and hot soles, but an idea for a new photographic project emerged from it all.
It always has to be something meaningful, with an intent to reach an understanding of someone or something.
The boy who was
I’ll be working on a project about my brother’s complicated life.
The project will be about his missing years, summer days, his passing and the absence from my life. The people we could’ve been and would’ve been to one another as adults.
Is it possible to bring someone to life through photographic memory?
I hope so. I see him more now than I ever have. It’s taken so long.
Cow parsley represents the turn of the season and liminal spaces like the hedgerows and verges it is found in. Cow parsley is about transitional periods, the pause between different states of being and being present in the moment.
