Love your writing, Nat!. The smell of our teenage perfumes are so ingrained in our memories, aren’t they? Here in the US in the 90s it was Love’s Baby Soft and Exclamation.
Thanks, Mary ♥️ Yes! I remember Exclamation 🙃 Also The Body Shop White Musk, Fuzzy Peach, and So... Scent is so tied up in memory. Good health to you too x
Nat, you're reminding me of my teenage years (which occurred very long ago) and the scents that defined them. I used to love the musky odor of English Leather that a former boyfriend often wore. For me, it was floral scents until I came upon patchouli which I would still be wearing if it didn't make my husband sneeze ;-)
that is a great combination, photos are fabulous!
hope you're feeling better!
Thanks v much! Hope you’re well!

Thanks so much, Siya, lovely to see you!
Thank you, Nat! I hope I stick around this time...
Me too! And I’m sure you will ♥️
I hope you're feeling better asap, Nat.
I'm so glad you shared this. So nostalgic and full of scents and yearning.
I can almost smell your photos. They're beautiful and also mundane. Catching people in their inbetweeny 'off' moments. Really moving
Thanks, Janelle :) There’s something uncanny in the mundanity of the betwixt and the between, much appreciated
Bad luck on covid - hope you feel better soon.
great photos.
Thanks, June x
Beautiful words and such evocative pictures, Nat - another absolutely terrific post! Sending every good wish for your speedy recovery.
Thanks, Rebecca, seems to be a bottleneck of colds and flus floating around 🙄 So glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the lovely comments x
