Personally, I think that concert photography looks best in monochrome. Good luck at Uni!

I love your photos but I must admit I feel a tad intimidated by your camera. I’ve been snapping photos for a few years but today I had to ask my husband (yet again) to explain shutter speed and ISO. I’ve already forgotten what he said about ISO 🤦🏼‍♀️😆 You have such a great eye!

It’s a lovely camera and not at all scary, I promise. The dials on top make it much easier to see and set up shots. Have a play with one of you get chance. I’m guessing you’ll like it.

I had a Canon T3i for a while, then gave it to my husband. Then he tried to get me to use it again, but he really liked it so it wasn't always available when I wanted it. Then he had me try another, smaller camera but the learning curve was way too high for me and even my husband struggled with it. He's been in a deep dive for years with astrophotography and macrophotography so if he can't understand a camera, then you know it's complicated ... lol. I'm pretty content with the photos I take with my iPhone 14 Pro Max but even that is a mystery for me at times. Ugh. Basically I count on timing, light, and luck for my photos :-)

They’re the best settings in my opinion! An eye for composition can never be truly taught, and you certainly do have it :)
