Notes from a 2020 diary marked: ‘Covid years: to be read and absorbed by a future ‘us’.’ My daily journal reveals a time I’d almost forgotten; the photos I took, make it real…
I love how you end this, Nat! Brought a big smile to my face. Lovely photos, and they are so bright, with a heightened color ... perhaps all that sunshine that we forget about when we're stuck indoors. Very nice narrative, too, with the subtle acknowledgment of how COVID changed conversations.
I just thought about the time when everything was shut down: Hotels, restaurants, shops… it feels like I just dreamed it or watched it in a movie a long time ago. So strange… wonderful little sequence and great writing as always!

Thanks so much, Marie. I forget just how bizarre a time it really was. Peaceful yet fraught with danger and the absolute unknown.
Very nice, Nat. Great photos!
Thanks so much Alex!

Thanks so much, Susanne. It was so very dreamlike. We’ve learned to live with it but I remember that early fear.
Nice colors
Thanks, George!
Wonderful photos! I especially loved the string of rainbow colored crocheted butterflies. 😍
Thanks so much, Jennifer, so happy you enjoyed it.
