Good choices. I just posted a note about a terrific Henri Cartier-Bresson show in Barcelona. It runs to the 26th of January. Very, very good.
On January 16th 'Ramón Masats; The silent photographer' starts at the Fundación Foto Colectania, also in Barcelona. Masats is one of the key photographers in Spain, who has made many memorable photographs along the way. His first book on the running of the bulls in Pamplona has a foreword by none other than Ernest Hemingway!
Thanks, Nat, these are wonderful. I could spend hours studying these photos, but the one that really arrests me is the fourth, the photo of the transparent woman sitting on a chair. She is like a ghost of a loved one, never really gone.
These are amazing
Thanks, Michael, fabulous work
Thanks for sharing these, they're fantastic.
Thanks June

You can hit both, if you time it right!
This is fabulous, thank you so much. It seems I need a trip to Barcelona!
Oh, I want to see the Turbeville exhibition!!! She is on my list of female photographers I want to write about…
Oh you must! I wasn’t too familiar with her work but so glad I am now. The exhibition is fabulous.

Beautiful isn’t it? Such moving work. Glad you like the photos :)
I like that one of the exhibitions was outside- the images were beautiful on the larger scale, and with the colors set against the brick.
Oh yes it works so well. And at dusk they show a projected film to accompany the exhibition on the brick walls around it.
