Love the live music pit shot! And re: Coldplay. Joni Mitchell, ina time travel moment, had never experienced the phone encore phenomenon until her first full show in a million years at a The Gorge here in Washington a fre weeks back. She said it was mesmerizing.

That sounds incredible. Extremely envious that you e experience Joni live too. Remember back in the day when it was lighters aflame and not mobile phone torches?

One of the first times I was in the pit for the Iceland Airwaves festival, there was this (I think) German guy who, every night, wore those JNCO jeans - those ultra-wide things. I can only imagine a maxi-dress was a dawdle compared to this poor guy. Fell over twice in just one show. :)

I smiled at the thought of this. He would've won the worst dressed award out of the two of us for sure :) If you ever try the maxi-dress-in-a pit-thing, let me know how you get on :D
